Frequently Asked Questions

Is Whistling Tree cruelty free?

Yes! We do not ever test any products on animals.

Does Whistling Tree use palm oil?

We do not use any palm oil in our products.

Are Whistling Tree products vegan?

Some of our products are vegan but not all. We do use beeswax in many of the lip balms. Where a product is vegan, we will say so on the product description. Please note though, if you want a particular flavour in a vegan balm, please reach out to us at info@whistlingtree.com.au and we will see if we can make it happen for you.

Are there any allergens in Whistling Tree lip balms and gloss?

If you have allergies, please check the ingredients carefully. Whilst unlikely, there is a possibility of traces of dairy and nuts, including peanuts, in Whistling Tree products.

What is the expiry date on Whistling Tree lip balms and glosses?

We recommend you use your balm or gloss within six months of purchase. Our balms and glosses are made from all natural ingredients with no added preservatives. If your balm or gloss starts to smell rancid, or changes colour or texture, please discard it.

How should I store my lip balm or lip gloss?

Please store your lip balms and glosses in a cool, dry place. They do not cope well with extreme heat, direct sunlight, or moisture.

How should I care for my beeswax ornaments?

Your beeswax ornaments should last for many years with careful handling. When you’re not using them, keep them wrapped in tissue paper, wax paper, or soft cloth, and in a sealed container. Store them flat in a cool, dry area away from heat and sunlight. If they develop a bloom (white powdery substance), you can wipe it off with a soft cloth. The bloom is completely natural and is not harmful. It occurs naturally overtime and many people love the look of it.

What do I do if there is something missing from my order?

Please double check your order and your parcel. If an item is still missing, please contact us at info@whistlingtree.com.au

Australia Post said my parcel has been delivered but it hasn’t - what do I do?

When your order is posted, you normally receive an Australia Post tracking number. Please contact Australia Post about your parcel. Australia Post does not provide proof of delivery documents (for example photographs) to Whistling Tree.

Can I change my order after I have paid for it?

Usually no. We do try to get orders out as quickly as possible. Please check your order carefully prior to checking out. You can always email us at info@whistlingtree.com.au and if your order has not been packed and posted, we may be able to make changes for you (but this is not guaranteed).
