Is there anything more wonderful than decorating a Christmas tree? It is truly one of my favourite things to do with my family. Our own ornaments are a mishmash of things collected over many years, some given to us, some bought, some made. They each tell a little story and hold a memory.
These beautiful ornaments are hand-poured pure beeswax, and if handled nicely, should last for many, many years. Each ornament is different, and they range in size from about 6.5 cm to 7.5 cm across. There may be slight variations in the beeswax colour as we only use pure beeswax (which can vary depending on the batch and season).
What you get: four (4) ornaments of different designs. They range in size from about 6.5 cm to 7.5 cm across. They will come with red or green ribbon attached, ready for hanging.
You can change the ribbon to whatever you prefer (such as jute twine or a different coloured ribbon), but please be aware the area around the ribbon hole is quite fragile. Proceed gently and slowly in removing the attached ribbon and swapping it with something else.
Hang your ornaments where they are out of direct sunlight or they might melt!
When not in use, store the ornaments in the supplied acid-free tissue paper and cardboard box, ready for next year. Please store them flat, in a cool, dry place, and with nothing heavy on the box. If the ornaments develop a white ‘bloom’ or powdery substance do not worry. It is perfectly natural and harmless. Some people like the look of the bloom and will leave it on. If you’re not a fan, very gently wipe the ornaments with a lint-free soft cloth.
